Said the Owl</i>, and many other popular picture books. He lives with his family in North Yorkshire, England. <p/><b>Felix Bernard</b> (1897-1944) was a composer of popular music as well as a conductor and, from childhood, a professional pianist. He wrote one-act comedies for vaudeville and toured the U.S., later settling down to work with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. <p/><b>Richard B. Smith</b> (1901-1935) was a composer best known for writing the lyrics to Felix Bernard's Winter Wonderland.</p>
