Her previous publications include <em>Locating Bourdieu</em> and <em>Auto/Ethnography: Rewriting the Self and the Social</em>. She has held a Jean Monnet Chair and Visiting Fellowships at Cambridge University and L'Institut National de Recherche Pédagogique. She has been the recipient of research Fellowships from NEH, NSF, the Russell Sage Foundation, the French Ministry of Culture, and the Fulbright Commission.</p>
