This 3CD set will include the band's complete recorded output for Warner Brothers Records in the early 80s, Robin Lane & The Chartbusters (1980), which features Robin's MTV hit "When Things Go Wrong," Imitation Life (1981) and the live EP, "5 Live" (1980). The collection will also include their 1984 EP, "Heart Connection", as well as all of the previously unreleased recordings from the Heart Connection sessions. It also includes all three songs from their independently released first single as well as pre-Chartbusters demo recordings and live recordings. "Many Years Ago" is a must for all Robin Lane and The Chartbusters fans; it contains everything that they've ever recorded and includes a 20 page booklet with comprehensive liner notes and classic historical photos, posters, flyers and other classic memorabilia. Robin Lane is a true survivor whose music career started in Los Angeles, when she was part of the legendary Laurel Canyon music scene where she recorded "Round And Round" with Neil Young on his 1969 classic album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.
