Concerning application of machine learning to different fields, he wrote five book chapters and he has more than 130 papers in his field. He has been awarded with Queen Effat Award for Excellence in Research, May 2018. Since 2015, he is working as a Professor of Information Systems at Effat University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is working as director of Research and Consultancy Institute of Effat University. He has worked on several projects related to biomedical signal processing and pattern classification.
