Every job she has ever had, whether baker, tailor, or candlestick maker, prepared her to teach a lesson to children. <br />Gail attended Northern Illinois University, majoring in English. Born in Ottawa, Illinois in 1951, she had an amazing childhood, attending a small country school and exploring her natural surroundings. She currently lives in a cozy little house in the small town of Tipton, Iowa, where she crafts, reads, gardens, and writes and illustrates children's books.</p>
