<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Book </b></p></br></br>Here the authors have compiled a bibliography of all extant sources of instrumental and vocal music which specify the cornett.<p/><br></br><p><b> Book Synopsis </b></p></br></br>Michael Collver and Bruce Dickey have compiled detailed listings of pieces for the cornett from 200 printed collections as well as more than 1,000 pieces preserved in manuscripts from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centures. Based largely on primary sources, the catalog provides full bibliographic information, instrumentation, locations of surviving copies, and modern editions.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br><p>MICHAEL COLLVER teaches voice and cornett at the Longy School of Music. He concertizes and records both as a cornett player and as a singer with Project Ars Nova. BRUCE DICKEY teaches cornett at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and is an active concert and recording artist. He is author of many articles on the cornett and on early music performance practices.</p>
