Preferring the company of children to adults, his Alice books were inspired by his friendship with the young Alice Liddell, the daughter of the Dean of Christ Church, where Carroll was a mathematics instructor.</p><p><b>Andrea D'Aquino</b> has always resisted labels like "art director", "illustrator", "graphic designer" and finds herself happiest straddling the line between all those things. She has worked as a senior art director for major advertising agencies.
