Lyons has also written hundreds of essays, which have appeared in <i>The New York Times, Harper's, National Geographic, Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, Big Sky Journal, The Pennsylvania Gazette, </i>and widely elsewhere. His memoir, <i>Fire in the Straw: Notes on Inventing a Life</i>, was published by Arcade Publishing in 2020. He lives in New York City. <p/><b>David Halberstam </b>was the winner of the 1964 Pulitzer Prize for international reporting. In the fall of 2007, his twenty-first book, <i>The Coldest Winter</i>, about the Chinese entry into the Korean War, was published by Hyperion. His prior fourteen books, starting with <i>The Best and the Brightest</i>, have been national bestsellers. He passed away in April 2007.<br>
