Domaine Pichot, Vouvray Jean-Claude Pichot produces this wine in the family tradition, which dates back to 1734. His magnificent vineyard is situated on the premiers of coteaux of Vouvray. The soil is calcareous clay, yields are voluntarily kept low to kept he grapes at their highest intensity, harvesting is by hand, and vinification takes place in wooden barrels. The wine was tasted while in cask and selected by Daniel Haas of Vineyard Brands. Fresh, floral chenin blanc with crisp acidity and rich concentration, this Vouvray is slightly dry, pure and intense.
