An early promoter of computerised solutions within healthcare, he went on to become a business analyst. His futurist insights into trends, innovation and leadership led him to being named one of the 20 most influential business thinkers by <i>The Times</i>. With 15 books published, he is much in demand by international clients (including Google) as a consultant and public speaker. His wife Sheila is a magistrate.
