In this educational magnetic toy, the object of the game is to help the colored balls find their way home to their matching color garage. Can you get the red balls to the red house? the blue balls to the blue parking garage and so on? This Montessori learning toy fosters concentration and strategic thinking as preschoolers independently work to get around the obstacles. One of the roadblocks must be guided along a track to move it out of the way. The other one can be rotated to allow one ball through at a time. Younger children will delight in simply moving the balls along the maze. Older children will problem solve how to tuck a ball in one of the alcoves to let another color pass or to turn a corner quickly to dislodge a color that is unexpectedly along for the ride. The three colored buildings have recessed compartments to hold the balls so that they don't fall out of place if the board isn't held completely flat.
