Actors interviewed include Alec Guinness, Rex Harrison, Robert Stephens, Harry Andrews, and Margaret Tyzack, with notes from John Gielgud and an introduction by Peter Gill himself.</p><p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>Lyn Haill is Head of Publications at the National Theatre. Her other books include Darkness Illuminated: Discussions on Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, Asking Around: A Handbook to the Hare Trilogy and In Rehearsal at the National. Peter Gill is a director and playwright. Formerly an associate director of the National Theatre, he was founding director of the National Theatre Studio and of the Riverside Studios.
