He regularly conducts executive briefings, business discovery workshops, and technology architecture sessions with many of North America's most leading-edge companies across a variety of industries and with government agencies. Bob has spoken at numerous industry conferences internationally, served as a guest instructor at various universities, and is an author of several books, including <i>Remaining Relevant in Your Tech Career </i>(Apress)<i>, </i> <i>Big Data and the Internet of Things</i> (Apress), <i>Oracle Big Data Handbook, </i> and <i>Oracle Essentials</i>.
