Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN, and associate scientist in clinical psychology in the department of psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Davis conducts federally-funded research to develop and evaluate treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that include novel approaches such as meditation. She is currently exploring the effects of yoga on PTSD symptoms. Davis is certified by the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School to teach mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).She is a trainer and provider for cognitive-behavioral conjoint therapy (CBCT) for PTSD, and currently provides consultation to VA clinicians nationwide who are learning this treatment. Davis is also the primary developer of a mindfulness-based version of CBCT for PTSD.
