Michelle Christian is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Her research focuses on structural racism, global political economy and precarious forms of labour. Robert Perrucci is Professor of Sociology Emeritus at Purdue University. He has published 19 books and 90 articles and chapters with a focus on organizations and structures of inequality.
