She is a professorial lecturer at the Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, USA, and a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. She founded and led for 18 years The Global Fund for Children that invests in innovative community based organizations serving the most vulnerable young people in the world.</p> <p><b>Gregory A. Fields</b> worked with Maya Ajmera at the Global Fund for Children, emphasizing fund raising, strategic planning and external relations. Subsequent to his time at GFC, he founded an international development consultancy, and is now a professional writer and editor.</p>
