Lansinoh Contact Nipple Shields are effective tools for addressing short term latch-on issues related to premature, small, or ill infant, flat or inverted nipples, tongue tie, lip tie, or overactive let-down. Each pack contains (2) 24mm Contact Nipple Shields and a protective case for hygienic and convenient storage. Lansinoh Contact Nipple Shields are ultra-thin, super soft, flexible and 100% silicone. BPA and BPS free. Made in Thailand Wash your hands and nipple shields in hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly before applying to the breast. For best results, soak the nipple shields in clean, hot water for 1-2 minutes prior to nursing. This makes them more pliable for a better fit on the breast. Applying a small amount of Lansinoh HPA Lanolin on the rim of the shield (not the nipple portion) may help the shield adhere to the breast. Gently press the rim toward the nipple of the shield, turning the shield partially inside out. Position the cut out portion of the shield at the top of your breast. Bring the shield to your breast, lining your nipple up with the shield's nipple opening. Push the rim of the shield toward your breast, turning it right side out and enclosing as much of your nipple as possible in the nipple openings. Cup your breast in the "C" hold, with your thumb on top of the breast and your fingers below keeping them away from the areola. Gently rub baby's lip with the nipple until he opens wide. Bring baby to the breast chin first encouraging baby to take as much of the nipple into their mouth as possible. ©Lansinoh
