Pip's rhyming series about Squishy McFluff: The Invisible Cat! was inspired by her daughter, who discovered her own imaginary kitten as a toddler. <br>Originally from Bath, <b>Laura Hughes</b> studied illustration at Kingston University and graduated in 2005. She has recently illustrated the River Rose series by Kelly Clarkson, and her first solo picture book <i>We're Going on an Egg Hunt</i>, was published by Bloomsbury in 2018. When not drawing, Laura loves to curate art exhibitions.
