William H. Willimon, recognized as one of today's master interpreters of the theology and practice of preaching, explains why, in the words of the Second Helvetic Confession, The preaching of the word of God is the Word of God. Drawing from classical theology and practical experience, he provides a cogent, powerful explanation of what it means to live the preaching life.

About the Author

Feeling most at home behind a pulpit, Will Willimon's deepest calling is to be a preacher and truth-teller of Jesus Christ.
