Her bestselling collection <i>Honeybee</i> hit shelves in the spring of 2018 to critical acclaim and glowing reviews from readers. Mateer's most recent collection of poetry, <i>dragonhearts, </i> was cowritten with poets Amanda Lovelace and Nikita Gill and was published in January 2019.
