Kennedy Book Award for Lifetime Achievement, and he was twice awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. James K. Galbraith is the author of seven books, including <i>The Predator State: How Conservatives Abandoned the Free Market and Why Liberals Should Too</i>. He holds the Lloyd M. Bentsen, Jr., Chair in Government / Business Relations at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. <p></p>
