He is the author of <em>Signs of Spectacular Resistance</em> (1998) and editor of <em>George Peele's The Battle of Alcazar</em> (2000), and <em>Imagining Morocco</em> (2008). He is currently working on a book project under the title <em>Muslim Discovery of Britain</em>.
