In the early 90's, he became the assistant to a fashion photographer and started working for several French publications focusing on music, skateboard, tattoo, and pop culture in general. He is the creator and the co-author of three volumes in the <i>Tattooisme</i> series of books which were among the first to treat tattoos as an art form worthy of serious attention. He is also a contributor to the pop art book <i>Tattoo Stickers Collectors</i> and was the editor in chief of the magazine <i>Rise Tattoo</i>.
