The neighborhood is going through rapid gentrification today, and many of these residents have been or will be displaced.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>MADELINE CROWLEY is a self-taught ethnographer who felt the need to chronicle the stories of her neighbors to bring together the increasingly fragmented community.
