<p/><br></br><p><b> Book Synopsis </b></p></br></br><p>Pat is a 64-year-old retired nurse who has been widowed for 8 years. After the sudden death of her husband of 37 years, she resigned herself to a life with the self-imposed mandate that she would never again be involved with another man. She then meets Rame and the magic begins ....</p><p>To fill that void, Pat devotes herself to a life of catering to her 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren (4 granddaughters and 1 grandson). Pat felt as long as she was surrounded by the love of her family, they were all she needed. Whatever anyone in '<strong><em>her crew</em></strong>' wanted or needed of her, without fail, she was available to give them whatever their hearts desired. For her family, this way of life was their '<strong><em>norm</em></strong>', and what they all came to expect no matter what. The foreseeable future saw no indication that any changes were coming in that regard.</p><p>Then she meets Rame, who is 62 and retired as well. Through a series of events, Pat and Rame will get a chance to sit and talk. And in that conversation, and other chats that ensue, they discover that there is a kismet, syncopated magic flowing between them. After figuring out that they are actually soulmates and want to be together, Pat's family has a major objection for her desire to have a man in her life. All except Pat's 9-year-old grandson who bonds with Rame, and loves having him is his life. On his end, Rame grows to be fond of the little guy as well. </p><p>As a result of their displeasure, the rest of Pat's family conspire to execute some extremely underhanded and unscrupulous measures to disrupt things. Their attitude and actions put Pat directly in the middle between them and Rame. That A) Puts a tremendous emotional toll on Pat and B) Makes it next to impossible for Pat and Rame to have any chance of enjoying their relationship. Despite that, Pat and Rame do try to put up a fight, seeking a place that they can live and bask in their '<strong><em>soulmate reality</em></strong>'. A place that doesn't result in them having to endure ...</p>
