He has contributed art and articles to <i>Smithsonian, Science, The Wilson Journal of Ornithology, Birding, BirdWatching, </i> and <i>North American Birds, </i> and wrote and illustrated a syndicated column for <i>The New York Times. </i>He is the recipient of the Roger Tory Peterson Award for Lifetime Achievement from the American Birding Association and the Linnaean Society of New York's Eisenmann Medal. He lives in Concord, Massachusetts. <p/> <b>CECILIA LEHAR</b> has been a fashion illustrator since 1978. She most recently drew the illustration line art for Knopf's <i>Vogue Colors A to Z</i> coloring book. Lehar worked at <i>Vogue Patterns</i> for eleven years, and among many other apparel- and fashion-related commissions, created period costume illustrations for the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
