Grammy-nominated composer Michael Hoppé presents the inspirational voices of the Sedona Academy of Chamber Singers and the Tetra Quartet, conducted by Ryan Holder on his newest album. Based on his 2006 recording "Requiem," Hoppé worked with master arranger Richard Bronskill to complete all eight movements of the new work: "Peace & Reconciliation," and performed it in Belgium, Mexico, Canada and the US in 2019. Written as a dedication to his parents, Hoppé began this project a number of years ago, but an invitation to perform at Sedona's Church of the Red Rocks inspired him to complete it and finally record the music. This album connects Hoppé's passion for heartfelt soulful music with a large choral sound, accompanied by a classical string quartet.
