He wrote four novels, <i>Trans-Atlantyk</i>, <i>Cosmos</i>, <i>Pornografia</i>, and <i>Ferdydurke</i>, which, together with his plays and his three-volume <i>Diary</i>, have been translated into more than thirty languages. <p/>
