Red, White, And Black does just that. The author does a great job of explaining the relationship between white and black people and what is not working. He begins the book by identifying the root cause of the problem. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is searching for a better understanding of the racial issues that we face in our country today. I also think that these types of book should be a part of our student's curriculum! It's better that we can identify and understand white privilege at any early age so that we can be better allies for black people. We many know the history of slavery, but to be able to understand how that time has altered and affected the progress of black people today is CRUCIAL.

Xaymum

5.0 out of 5 stars

A Delicate Balance

Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2020I really enjoy the sharing of opinions and voices when it comes to race and equality. This is a tough subject to tackle so open discussion is key, and I feel the author was well-researched in what was presented in Red, White and Black. I applaud their effort to make the reader aware of the past, and what we can observe, learn, change and implement to ensure a more equal future for all Americans. Quite moving and emotional as I could feel the author's passion and emotion drip from the pages.
