Until recently, she was director of the Sustainability in Practice Network within WestFocus (a consortium of seven universities). She is adjunct professor in the Faculty of Environmental Design at the University of Calgary, Canada, an associate editor of the Design Journal and a Design Studies journal referee. Paul Micklethwaite is a research fellow in sustainable design at Kingston University. Paul undertakes research, knowledge transfer, and enterprise activities across a wide range of areas within sustainable design. His areas of research interest include design and manufacture with recycled materials and 'green' branding.
