He has specialized in building World War I models for over twenty years and has won many awards and trophies including Golds at the UK Nationals. He has also written numerous articles and reviews for a variety of publications including <i>Scale Aircraft Modelling</i>, <i>Scale Aviation Modeller International</i>, <i>Windsock International</i>, <i>IPMS Magazine</i>, <i>Model Aircraft Monthly</i> and <i>Scale Models International</i>. In 2015 he won the Bob Downey Memorial award for the best article published in the IPMS magazine for that year.</p>
