How she interpreted everything SISTER SAID from what she really meant from sister's mouth, to her ears, to her mother's home. This journey takes place in Euclid Ohio on the Lakeshore Blvd. of Lake Erie. Starting in the Briardale projects built for World War 11 veterans and their families to the local color of Cleveland and the surrounding area. Songs, T.V. shows, movies, and a young person activities give a taste of the times. Summertime and away from sister yet never far away from what SISTER SAID. The influence of the Catholic church's rules and regulations concerning the sacraments and the celebration of Mass in 1949 before Vatican 11 to the changes after Vatican 11 in 1962 and how the sisters and their habits changed. The view from mysterious and magical sisters from a young girl's eyes to a practical and yet prayerful young woman's eyes changed. It is my hope and has been my effort for it to be interesting, informative, inspirational, entertaining and humorous to the reader both Catholic and non-Catholic. What SISTER SAID may or may not be theologically true but it is what she said.
