The western drama ALIAS SMITH AND JONES ran on ABC from January 1971 through January 1973. The program starred Peter Deuel (quickly replaced by Roger Davis following his suicide) and Ben Murphy as, respectively, Hannibal Heyes and Jed "Kid" Curry, two former outlaws attempting to go straight in the American West of the late 19th Century. The state governor had offered them a pardon for their misdeeds, on the condition that they manage to stay "clean" for one year. This proved somewhat difficult, however, with many enemies lurking nearby and bounties on their heads. A young Sally Field, fresh from THE FLYING NUN and GIDGET, co-starred as female outlaw Clementine Hale. This collection includes the entire three-season, 50-episode series.
