After appearing on <i>The Alan Titchmarsh Show</i>, Andy wrote a series of nostalgic memoirs for adults about his days as a young teacher in the Dales, with the first, <i>All Teachers Great and Small</i>, described by the <i>Daily Mail</i> as "heart-warming and hilarious." Andy spends much of his time promoting reading for pleasure in schools across the UK, where his memorable and dramatic visits create a huge enthusiasm for books.
