He has owned, restored, sailed and cruised his own wooden schooners and others for 40 years. His wide-ranging experience includes building small traditional sailboats and rebuilding large sailing craft, mostly schooners. He is also an award-winning screenwriter, artist and lives and sails his 65' wooden schooner REEF CHIEF between Key West and the Bahamas.
