On many visits back to Rome, Carlo found himself walking the city as a tourist, and, not satisfied with the available guidebooks, he decided to write a more varied and interesting one.Betsy Schad Mignani married Carlo Mignani and lived in Rome for many years. She enjoyed participating in this effort to bring a personal, detailed description of the many wonderful things to see in Rome.
