D'Addario designed their EJ26 Custom Light acoustic guitar strings for players who know exactly what they want — the depth and projection that comes with light gauge bottom strings, but a little less tension on the high strings for easy bending. It was way back in 1974 that D'Addario first introduced phosphor bronze to the crafting of guitar strings, and since then the alloy has become synonymous with warm, bright, well-balanced acoustic tone. These strings are precision wound with corrosion-resistant phosphor bronze onto a hexagonally shaped, high-carbon steel core. The result is bright, long-lasting sound with excellent intonation.
