Machi combines her studio practice with teaching, having taught jewelry making for over ten years at various locations in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, UK. Machi was Artist in Residence at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell, UK for 2010 and 2011. Machi's interests in modern art, particularly in sculpture and minimalism, influence her work.
