He has written for the Washington Post and is the editor of the NCAAP magazine, <i>The Crisis</i>. He lives in Boston, with his wife and five children. <p/><b>LeUyen Pham</b>(pronounced <i>Lay-win</i>) was born in Saigon, Vietnam and grew up in Southern California. She attended the Art Center College of Design and worked as a layout artist for Dreamworks before illustrating children's books full-time. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and baby boy.
