In Love, Peace, and Joy, Father Prévot gives the actual words of Our Lord to St. Gertrude, then explains their meaning, and shows the practical ways in which a person can respond to the Heart of Jesus in order to satisfy Our Lord's great thirst to pour out His love and mercy on souls. Father Andre Prevot, of the Society of the Priests of the Heart of Jesus, was a French priest who lived in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His devotional work entitled <i>Love, Peace, and Joy</i> was originally published by R. & T. Washbourne, Ltd. in London as <i>Love, Peace, and Joy: A Month of the Sacred Heart According to Saint Gertrude</i>. Father Prevot wrote it to carry out our Lord s great desire namely, that of making His sacred Heart known and loved throughout the world. It is based on Christ s personal words to St. Gertrude as she herself has recorded in her Revelations. TAN reprinted the book in 1984 and again in 2007.
