It has never been out of print. <p/><b>Tibor Gergely </b>was born in Hungary in 1900 and emigrated to the US in 1939. He went on to become one of the most prolific early illustrators of Little Golden Books. His classics include <i>Tootle</i>, <i>The Little Red Caboose</i>, and <i>Scuffy the Tugboat.</i> He died in 1978.
