She uses writing as a therapeutic medium for understanding and responding to the near decimation of Native culture, language, and tradition. <p/>John-Kehewin has been published in <i>Quills Poetry</i>, <i>Salish Seas</i>, UBC's Aboriginal Anthology, SFU's <i>Emerge</i> anthology.
