Impr. 447 pgs; PB<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>Father Matthias Joseph Scheeben was born at Meckenheim, Germany in 1835. Held as one of the greatest Catholic theologians of modern times, he taught dogmatic theology at Cologne after becoming a priest in 1858. He went on to author many works, including <i>The Mysteries of Christianity</i>, <i>Nature and Grace</i>, <i>The Glories of Divine Grace</i>, and <i>A Manual of Catholic Theology</i>. Father Scheeben believed that a deeper understanding of Catholic dogma should be available to all Catholics, and strove to make his books accessible to those who share the faith. He died in 1888.<br>
