These small poems capture what haiku poets call "haiku moments," moments of brilliance for the observer when some moment of magic happens, completely unannounced and unexpected. They capture the essence of nature as it rolls out before the poet during the seasons of the year. And the poet includes those brief moments of clarity in the presence of humanity with all its blessings and curses.</p>
