LED lights give the house a warm glow; timer allows you to keep the lights on for 8 hours/off for 16 hours. Takes 3 AA batteries, not included. Two-story house has all the necessities to attract wrens, finches, chickadees and more to nest: ventilation, drainage, an unpainted interior and a 1¼" dia. opening. Back wall removes for easy cleaning. This set comes with a turned Wood Pole for easy display. The Pole has a pedestal base and ground auger for stability, and is made of kiln-dried hardwood finished with outdoor paint. This sturdy, kiln-dried wood pole has a top mounting platform to affix to the birdhouse. The turned wood design adds style and beauty to your landscape. More elegant that metal poles or plain square posts, this pole is the elegant way to elevate even the most ornate bird house. Bottom support feet are approx. 16"L; included ground auger offers additional stability in your landscape.
