<p/><br></br><p><b> Book Synopsis </b></p></br></br><p>Molly, an adorable meerkat who loves to dance, learns a valuable lesson about responsibility.</p><p><br></p><p>Meerkats are small burrowing mammals that live in the desert areas of Africa. They are social</p><p>and live in groups of about 25 individuals. Young meerkats learn by observing and mimicking</p><p>adult behavior. While others are looking for food or playing outside the burrow, a "sentry" meerkat </p><p>stands guard, watching for predators. When a predator is spotted, the sentry gives a warning bark, </p><p>and members of the group scatter or run into one of the many connecting holes leading into the</p><p> burrow. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Michelle Voss is a retired elementary teacher and a parent of three children. As a teacher and parent, she</p><p>understand the impact books have on children. She wanted to write a book with a whimsical character that </p><p>teaches an important lesson.</p><p><br></p><p>She lives in San Diego, California with her husband, three cats, and spoiled dog.</p>
