She completed a two-year merit appointment from 2015-2017 in Washington DC as the Director of the Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. <p/>Prior to her public service, Ms. Flaherty was the Global Head of Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention and Americas General Counsel for the Newedge Group with a team in twelve countries.
