Syrah, Santa Ynez Valley Estate grown and bottled. Alc 14.5% by vol. Since 1972, we have hand crafted wines with character and integrity from grapes sustainably grown in our vineyards, offering you a unique experience to share. Our 2005 Syrah was hand harvested, gently destemmed and then fermented in small open-top bins. After eighteen months in French oak barrels, this wine has rich blackberry, cassis, our signature sage spice aromas and flavors, fine tannins, and a long lingering finish. This full-bodied wine can be enjoyed over the next 10 years with grilled steak, roasted duck or bold cheeses. - Clay Brock, Winemaker.
