Jackson-Peoples</p><p><br></p><p>Willis Boone Sr. was a husband and father to five children. He was a strong man mentally and physically and was the head of Marie B. Jackson-Peoples' family. Whatever happened in their household, good or bad, he took ownership. Boone was a Christian man, who had faith in God. He made his children feel important, loved, and appreciated and enjoyed his rural living, especially farming. He had a passion for raising beautiful farm animals and harvesting crops in the fall. His silhouette is still standing in the fields today.</p><p><br></p><p>About the Author</p><p><br></p><p>Marie B. Jackson-Peoples, BS, MS, M.Ed. grew up in a Christian home in rural Caroline County, Virginia. Recent published books are <em>A Book of Short Stories </em>and<em> Spunky Craig.</em> She has also published articles, as a result of attending the Institute of Children's Literature Program in Connecticut. Jackson-Peoples spent her career working in the public schools of Washington, DC.</p>
