Two animated Christmas fantasies on one DVDs. In Santa's Apprentice, Santa Claus (Benoît Allemane) holds a lottery to determine which of the world's children will take over his job. The shy and fearful Nicholas Nathan Simony) wins the contest, but how can he take on such a big job? And in The Magic Snowflake, young Nicholas (voiced by Nathan Simony) gets his dream job of overseeing the whole North Pole operation himself after Santa Claus retires, from the toy factory to the wrapping department to the final Christmas Eve delivery mission. But whoever's in charge must maintain the innocent joy of a child - and has Nicholas become too serious to remember the fun of just being a kid at Christmas? Adapted from Belgian animator Jan Van Rijsselberge's TV series SANTAPPRENTICE.
